  • I don’t know where else to put this, so I’m sticking it here until I hear otherwise. I know a few people are planning to go and the more I look at it, the more I would like to go if I can. I mean, there’s a Distant Worlds concert going on, I want to see that! So I thought I’d start a thread for discussion, planning and all that jazz.…[Read more]

  • I tried not to reference too much outside FF becasue the question itself was about FF. I, for one, am not good at twitch games so I’m not a big fan of games the rely on twitch response for the fights and not much else. This is why I don’t play fighting games, I suck ass at them unless they are button masher friendly like, uhm, I think it was…[Read more]

  • Thus far, I am going to have to say FFVII and FFX tie for the main series and Tactics for spin-offs. While I do like the job system, namely in Tactics, I think it works best for a game that is meant to be lingered over. I like turn based/ATB systems and feel they are a good balance between control and speed. If I could have any system I wanted…[Read more]

  • Marathon the game for a day or 5 most likely. Much like with Fallout 4, I plan to get as much housework done as possible before hand, buy paper plates and plastic cups so I have fewer dishes to do. Kiss my husband and pets good buy and live in my basement for a week.

  • I watched it as well and loved it. A lot of people are talking about the ‘nostalgia’ thing with this and I have to disagree. This is not a nostalgic look at the 80’s (outside of the homage to movies of that time) this is what the 80’s looked like. This is a period piece and I love it for that. This is the 80’s I loved in, that nasty orange…[Read more]

  • I have the game on PS4 and a character, not maxed out, I have not finished the game and would be willing to start a new character if you need/have room for another player when the time comes. My husband and I have played it, but he is getting bored of it so we play Helldivers a lot now. Couch co-op is so hard to find these days. Though as…[Read more]

  • I would love to see some DS/3DS games up for review myself, the main console, eh. Not a big Nintendo main console fan these days. I love the 3DS, but my last main was the Gamecube, which I still have. I have zero plans to buy a main console thus far as I don’t like any of the exclusive games enough to tempt me.

    My consoles, for…[Read more]

  • And this update messed it up. It’s super crash-tastic, which they are working on. I was working around it until today. Now I’m stuck in a crash loop. I’m in a fight and it just crashes every time loads. Over and over.

  • I bought it awhile ago but haven’t played it yet. I really got it to have the game in my library and to get the theme. Lame I know, but I really wanted that damn theme. I still have my original copy and I played it a few years ago. I am waiting for the remake in the hopes they don’t screw it up.

  • I did some guest hosting on a podcast my friend used to run. He’s since passed it on to another guy who went in an odd direction with it, but whatever. It was kind of a fringe show about LGBT issues. It was fun. My husband and I have been tossing around the idea of doing either a writing podcast or a writing series on youtube. I lean youtube…[Read more]

  • Shinryu for the win. Snes Classic for sure. I still have my PS1, yes, it has some sound issues, but it still works! And I still have my NES, which actually works better than the PS1 some days.

Oddly, I really miss playing Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast. I liked to just solo areas. It’s a weirdly soothing game to play.

  • I find it hard to say since I’m not sure how one would define the two or differentiate them. I am a fan of the show in that I like it, am subscribed and look forward to listening. I guess that is a listener too.

  • I have to wonder what demographic marketers are going for when they pick the ages of people in these games. As a kid, I never really wanted to read/watch kids my own age. Sometimes I would encounter someone my own age in a particularly good movie and later, book, but generally, I was yearning for the next age mile-stone in my young life. When I…[Read more]
