    I was talking to Kaleb on Twitter aboutthis but it was frustrating having to speak in small chunks so I guess I’m posting it here:

    Why is this even a question? White people used this word to hold black people down centuries, it’s beyond stupid and arrogant to walk up them and demand they stop using it now just because we don’t like being reminded of it or because we’re not allowed to use it. In context of the question, parents can do what they want tbh it was a far less interesting scenario.

    I never have used this word to hold back anybody. Please don’t lump me in with a group of people just because I have the same skin color.
